Office For Design is to be included in the fourth LogoLounge volume, a renowned international logo design publication.

The judging panel included some of the international design world's biggest names. Each judge reviewed thousands of logos from around the world. With a total of over 28,000 logos judged, the judges chose 2,000 and the final collection is not only an excellent point-in-time examination, it is full to the brim with inspiration, higher thinking, and craftsmanship.

Office For Design has been included in the latest edition of the design journal "Letterhead and Logo Design" (edition 9) by Christopher Simmons (one of Graphic Design: USA's "people to watch" for 2005).

Absa Development Company

A Fresh Approach to Property Development

Absa, as South Africa’s largest banking group aligned with Barclays Bank internationally, is a market forerunner. And the Absa Development Company is no exception.

Absa DevCo handles the marketing and sales of residential townships and property developments from Middle Market to Sustainable Integrated Townships which requires a varied approach considering the large differences in target audience and market offering. Partnering with Absa we have been successful in creating differentiation in a cluttered market space.

We undertook to re-brand Absa’s property development arm, focusing on distinguishing this division whilst still remaining true to the Absa core brand and visual identity guidelines; ensuring that the core values and passion for creating a difference within the South African landscape were communicated with a visual identity that speaks of ‘A Fresh Approach to Property Development’.

Branding Absa DevCo also means that we are involved in developing marketing material for their property developments ensuring that they consistently stand out from the crowd.
 

AKN WORLD TRADE
Annual Report 2007


AKN World Trade is the South African division of the AKN Group, an extensive international company with a core focus on property investment and shipping. Office For Design were commissioned to design the 2007 Annual Report, where we handled the project from conceptualisation to copywriting, design and layout to final execution and printing.
   

OUTDOOR EXPO
Experience the adventure


The Outdoor Expo, established 16 years ago has become synonymous with all things related to the outdoors, adventure and travel in both Gauteng and the Cape.

OFD took on re-branding the Expo according to its positioning as the largest (and best!) Expo of its kind in South Africa, with graphics that inspire the senses to “live the adventure”.

the definitive flavour coordinate


Office For Design partnered with Rainmaker Business Solutions to bring a sensual fruit brand to life... The brief was to create a sensual and ‘designer’ class fruit brand for both the local and international market. The name and positioning of the brand is based on the coordinate of the farm in the Ceres valley where the fruit is grown – the definitive flavour coordinate.

Our designs speak of a sensual, flavour-burst, designer fruit experience...
   

Potatoes South Africa
Pure Potato Passion


Office for Design formed part of the dynamic team, headed by Rainmaker Business Solutions, involved in re-branding the face of Potatoes in South Africa. Handling the design and branding components of an extensive re-positioning strategy many challenges were encountered; One of which was elevating potatoes from a commodity to a recognized brand name. Two brands were created, one for use in the consumer market communicating "Natural Energy for Life", and a corporate logo communicating the passion inherent in the industry through the strap line "Pure Potato Passion".
